Equine Assisted Learning
There is something extraordinary about being in the presence of a horse.
They have an incredible capacity to live in the present moment. As prey animals, they are exquisitely attuned to what is happening right now. When something feels unsafe, they respond. When safety returns, they settle. They rest. They graze. They return to balance.
Being with a horse reminds us that peace is not something we have to create. It is our natural state when we are no longer consumed by the past or anticipating the future.
This is the foundation of Equine Assisted Learning.
Horses don't relate to our stories, achievements, or carefully constructed identities. They respond to our nervous system, our emotional state, our body language, and our level of presence. They meet us exactly as we are, offering immediate, honest feedback without judgement.
Everything happens on the ground. Through carefully facilitated experiences with the herd, the horses become mirrors, reflecting patterns in how we communicate, lead, trust, protect ourselves, and relate to others.
My work brings together over a decade of teaching Vedic Meditation, somatic awareness, trauma-informed practice, intuitive guidance, and the wisdom of the horses. Together, they create an environment where insight is not only understood but truly embodied.
Each session begins with your intention. Whether you are navigating stress, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, parenting, leadership, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, the work is guided by what is alive in the present moment.
The aim is not to fix you.
The aim is to expand your capacity for presence.
From presence comes awareness.
From awareness comes choice.
As the nervous system experiences greater safety, the body naturally softens. We begin to let go of unnecessary tension, old protective patterns, and the constant need to anticipate what comes next. We learn that change doesn't happen through force. It happens when we create the conditions for it.
The horses continually invite us back to this place.
To rest.
To relax.
To become deeply present with ourselves.
And from that place of presence, to move towards the life we truly want to live.
